NIS 2006 & Outlook 2002

Just upgraded to NIS 2006. Had been using previous versions.
Also using Outlook 2002.
Have Windows XP Professional.
Issues with checking the Inbox for Incoming Messages.
I'll try to convey exactly what's happening:

Microsoft Outlook launches.
I click the Inbox to view the latest incoming messages.
I then immediately see an error window (sometimes known as dialog box)
generated by Outlook which states:
Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are

sorry for the inconvenience.
There is a checkbox indicating the option, "Restart Microsoft Outlook"
There is further messaging stating:
"Please tell Microsoft about this problem."
"We have created an error report that you can send to help us improve
Microsoft Outlook. We will treat this report as confidential and
anonymous.
To see what this error report contains, click here"
There are 3 buttons:
"Debug", "Send Error Report", "Don't Send"
I have tried all three options.

Additionally, I have followed all the steps indicated on these pages:

AND

http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...76af48&dtype=&prod=&ver=&osv=&osv_lvl=&seg=ag

with the following exceptions:
I haven't sent a report to Symantec
Instead of contacting the ISP regarding "corrupt" emails, I viewed my
Inbox without using Microsoft Outlook, through Internet Explorer,
utilizing the web client, deleted and/or put in folders all incoming
email.
Interestingly enough, I am able view and work within all other folders
in Microsoft Outlook, "Junk Email", the North Anti-Spam Folder, other
folders that I have created...
