NJABL dynablock

I get the following message returned when i send email through outlook via my
web hosting company. I have no problem using my hosting company's website to
send messages however.

451 Dynamic/Residential IP range listed by NJABL dynablock -
http://njabl.org/dynablock.html

It would seem that if my email address truly were blocked then i wuold not
be able to send via the hosting company's web interface either.

It seems like messages going out from Outlook are being given a different IP
address that is blocked by the dynablock system. Anyone know how to fix
something like that?

This can happen if you're not using your ISP's SMTP server for your outgoing
messages. Exactly how do you have your SMTP server defined?

Brian,

Thanks for the tip. I've been bugged by the "451 Dynamic/Residential IP
range listed by NJABL dynablock - http://njabl.org/dynablock.html" for months
and thought it was somehow related to my Norton Internet Security settings.

I simply changed my Outlook account's outgoing mail server STMP from the
domain name of my hosted website (mail.domain.com) to my ISP mail server
(smtp.charter.net) and the problem disappeared.
