NK2 File Missing (Outlook 2010)

Hi

After upgrading my Outlook from 2007 to 2010 I found that NK2 file is
missing. I copied the NK2 file from a backup taken before upgrade but the
Autocomplete does not work (all cached info is gone).

Any idea if there is change in NK2 file/format or a design change in Outlook
2010.

Outlook 2010 no longer uses nk2-files to store addresses for the AutoSuggest
feature but uses an additional Contacts folder called "Suggested Contacts"
for that instead.

Note that Outlook 2010 is currently available in a limited BETA only. Any
issues that you encounter can be reported through the proper channels such
as Connect or the Send a Smile/Frown feature.

There is also a public forum at TechNet which covers the current BETA
release. Search for "office2010general".

Thanks Roady.

Sounds like an improvement from Outlook 2007 however, when I create a new PC
what I used to do is copy my .nk2 file from the old PC to the new. Then all
my email addresses I used to use would move over with me even if they were
not in my contacts list or address book. Losing that ability is a bad thing
IMOP.

So with that in mind, where does Outlook 2010 store the additional Contacts
folder called "Suggested Contacts"?

It's in the data store as a hidden folder, I believe.
