.NK2 File - pls help

I received a new work computer recently and today I copied over my .NK
file to my new computer and named it after my profile (over-writing th
.NK2 file that had been generated in the past couple of weeks of Outloo
use). The file copied over but my old addresses are not being suggeste
in the autocomplete drop-down box. However, any addresses that I use
today are being saved in the correct .NK2 file - I have checked tha
every time I close out of Outlook, this file is updated and has gotte
larger since I have copied it over. I have no idea why only the ne
names are being recognized by Outlook, even though the file is ove
700KB in size. Does anyone have any suggestions

Never overwrite any Outlook data file.
Immediately after a full reboot, rename the current default NK2 file. The
copy your old NK2 file into the same directory and rename it to match your
current profile.

If Russ' idea doesn't work, let me know. I have a utility that can
(usually) open the NK2 file and can send you your contacts. At 700K you
must be at your limit of 1,000 names in the file. You can contact me at
sales (at) dcs-imaging.com if you need help. Just make certain that you
don't delete that file, or let it become overwritten by OL why you're
experimenting with profiles.
