Nnot a valid Microsoft Office Imaging file

I am getting the following error message when trying to open a MDI
file..."The selected file is not a valid Microsoft Office Imaging file" How
do I fix this

Hi Southfox,

How are you trying to open the file? The MDI format
is supported only by the Office 2003 Document Imaging app.
