No 25-character product key on package!

I received as a gift the Upgrade to MS Office Word 2007, and have been
prompted to type in the 25-digit product key. There is none. There is,
however, a 16-digit code. Is it a separate label that perhaps has been
removed? Frustrated to no end, here!

You have looked on the back of the dropout tray on the DVD case? No orange
sticker? If not, time to ask the gift giver for a receipt so you can
contact the seller for a replacement.
