No Alarm Icon in 2007 Outlook Calendar?

Outlook 2003 calendar shows an icon on each appointment for which an alarm is
set, which I found very useful. Is there some way to get Outlook 2007 to do
the same?

no, not in the day / week / month view.

Would someone care to elaborate on why not? This is ridiculous that we have
to open every calendar item just to see if an alarm is set. It may seem like
a small item but it's annoying and doesn't even make sense that prior
versions had the icon and suddenly and without an explanation the icon is
gone.

Hi Pete:

I am having the same annoyance (no alarm icon in Outlook Calendar).

I am finding this not only an inconvenience, but a problem.

Have you found out anything more about this? Or any kind of fix?

Thanks!

We just went to the 2007 version and I wish I could go back. I agree that
this is a major inconvenience. If everyone else would create appointments
and events the way I like them, I wouldn't need to worry about the reminders.
It was much easier to scan my calendar and turn off or on the reminders when
the alarm icon was present in the appointment. Please put this in a patch in
the near future!!

It's highly unlikely to make it into a future update for office 2007. Speak
with your admin and he can open a support incident with Microsoft - that
will do more to bring it back than posting here.
