No alert sound in Outlook 2003

I just installed Outlook 2003. I previously had Outlook Xp. Even though I
have chosen for a sound to show there is new mail and I have also configured
it in the Control Panel for this, I don't get a sound when new mail comes
in. Any ideas. Sound works fine in all other applications etc.

Select tools then options and then select the other tab
click on the advanced options button then. There will be
a check box for provide feedback with sound. Once
selected an you click ok to go out it will prompt you to
download and install the sound package from Microsoft. I

Thanks for the reply Mike. I will try this. I notice it states it for
Office XP or Office 2000. I hope it will work for 2003.

Well, I tried this and it will work if I send email from Outlook to myself.
Incoming mail from other sources will not play the sound? Any other ideas!
