No Auto Suggestions

I have these options selected in my VBA Tools/Options/Editor dialog:

- Auto List Member
- Auto Quick Info
- Auto Data Tips

- but they don't work and Excel beeps at me when I try to use the
corresponding toolbar buttons. They work as expected in Word VBA.

Any suggestions?

Rather unscientific reply I'm afraid. I have had similar issues in the past
when VBA was unable to compile my project. I have tried to test this without
sucess. But can you compile your project?

Hi Ben:

No problems with compiling, and the Auto List Member facility sometimes
works - but not always. I have noticed this on previous versions of Excel,
usually just when I could do with some help! How does it know?
