No automatic or manual Send/Receive All

I am running Outlook 2003 SP 3 on Windows XP, and have been for years without
any problems.

Because my .pst file reached maximum size, I created a new on with a larger
limit and migrated all my data into the new account.

Trouble is, I the program no longer performs automatic or manual
Send/Receive All operations.

When I click on "Send/Receive All" or hit F9, I get an immediate message
"Send/Receive Complete", but no message headers are synchronized, although I
see on my cell phone and in web mail that there are new.

If I click on a different folder and then go back to the inbox folder,
however, message headers are properly synchronized.

Individual messages go out without a problem, and everything is properly
synchronized upon startup. No virus or firewall settings have changed, only
the pst file.

What is going on?

Close Outlook and search your drive for a file called Outlook.srs (it will be
inside a hidden Windows folder, so make sure you make hidden folders visible
or include them in your search criteria). Rename it to OLDOutlook.srs, then
reopen Outlook - a new Outlook.srs file will be created. Check the
send/receive settings to make sure it's set up like you want it, and
hopefully that will solve the problem.

Accounts and PSTs are not the same thing. Describe in exact detail how you
"migrated".

Sorry, I misspoke. I meant I moved all my data into the new folder.

I did it online with tech support, and it took a very long time, and I am
not sure how much detail I can give, but it roughly went like this:

Close the old pst file, go into e-mail accounts, find the folder, create a
new one.

Then in the left-hand navigation pane, move contents from old folders into
new folders.

Does that make sense?

Yes, but it sounds like your mail profile has a problem. The first thing to
try, though, is to follow Jocelyn's advice.
