No Barcode option 2.63" labels

When I choose Avery labels #8161 (4" long), word gives me the option
of printing the delivery barcode. If I choose the 8160 (2.63" long),
the option is greyed out. I have measured the fit of the text, and
the shorter labels are NOT too short. The text from the longer label
fits just fine on the shorter one. Does anyone have a work around for
this? I really need the delivery barcodes, and have already purchased
a big supply of 8161.

The work-around is don't bother to use them - they don't comply with USPS
reqs anyway & won't do you any good. MS stopped updating them years ago when
the they started getting changed every 2 weeks. They've been droped
completely from Win Office 2007 which suggests that they most likely won't
be in 2008 either. For more detail plus a link to what the USPS recommends
