Situation:
I have about 20-30 remaining people to migrate from Novell 6.5 –
Exchange 2007, using outlook 2003 (sp2)
We do have Quest but I have been instructed not to use it for these
people.
The solution they want is to use outlook client to view the Novell
mailbox, archive it to .pst and then import it into the users exchange
mailbox.
I can view the GW mailbox fine through outlook. The problem is when I
export it to PST it does not take the message body. However, it does
take the “To, From, Subject” fields and attachments in the message
It looks like it is possible with Outlook 2000.

I found this KB regarding a similar problem. However we I do have SP2
on my client.

I know they did change the file format for .pst in O2K3 to unicode, so
I am wondering if that has anything to do with it? If I make a
manual .pst file in the old ANSI version and manually drag the email
into it, then I get the error “Can’t move the items. Some, but not
all, the entries were successfully copied”. The email does not appear
in the pst file.
I am able to get view the messages in Outlook express 6 and export the
messages from there to Outlook Exchange. However that is all it
exports. It does not take the calendar entries
Any ideas?
