NO Calendar in Outlook setup!

I have used Outlook as a Calendar/organizer for 4 years with both Pocket PC
and Palm handheld computers. Now I bought a new laptop, and I installed
Office 2000 on it. I want to use Outlook without email (I use Outlook 2000
instead) but this time Oulok won’t allow it. Outlook will open but only as a
browser – ther are no Calendar, Tasks, and Memo folders. Help files say
there should be options to “use outlook without email†but these are nowhere
to be found in my Outlook. I tried to reinstall but got the same results.
What is up here? Am I missing something?
(I don’t understand the choose profile option that comes up in the
installation dialog either….)
Any help would be appreciated!

Close Outlook. Go to control panel, mail and create a profile that does not
include an email account.
