no colors in publisher

I am not able to see any colors in Publisher, except pics, even in previously
designed docs. The colors print ok though and I can see them in print
preview. Help what is happening.

Any chance you have a b/w laser printer set up as your default printer?
(That wouldn't leave the pictures in color but it's still worth asking.)
