No Current Record Error Message

I am unable to update a row from a linked UDB Version 7
table that has a required timestamp field using Access
97. I receive a 'no current record' error It seems the
value of the timestamp is changed when
it returned to db2 from Access. How do I solve this
problem in Access? Access 2000 also doesn't seem to work
even with the fix pack.
