no data in spreadsheet

when i double click the excel file from any of the location , the
spreadsheet is empty. but if i start the excel program first then select open
excel file, i can see my data.

any idea why ?

Under Tools, Options, General, untick the option Ignore other applicaitons

Replace xxx with hotmail
