No Drop down lists in custom fields for 2007?

Hi,
Can anyone confirm whether or not there is an option to create drop
down lists in custom fields with MS Project 2007?

From some older tutorials it appears to have been possible with earlier
versions of MS Project.

Yes, this is still possible. However, the terminology has changed. Click
Tools - Customize - Fields. In the fields dialog, select any field Type,
select an available field and rename it. Then click the Lookup button and
add your value list. The Lookup Table attached to the field is what
generates your value list, and unlike older versions of Microsoft Project,
the Lookup Table offers you hierarchical capabilities. Hope this helps.

Hi Dale,

My turn to apologize - indeed, Value List is now called Lookup
OTOH, when not connected to Server, I see no possibility for hierarchy
(except in Outloien Code).

The only copy of Microsoft Project 2007 I have is the Professional version
that connects to Project Server 2007. Thus, my answer was based on what I
can see in my own software. I apologize if this caused any confusion for
the user. :)
