no dropdowns in tools

odd behavior. Have my ON on my two home computers, and one of them has the
tools and options dialogue, but in the editing options, the dropdowns for
font and size have nothing in them. And to add to that, the font one is very
small (clearly smaller than any name could fit in there...maybe a character
or two in width).

Any thought?

A first step worth trying is to carry out a repair.

Select Help > Detect and Repair.

That may help.
