No e-mail update messages Project Server 2003

I'vw setup project server on a web server, but do not receive mail messages
when requesting an update on tasks. The addresses were selected from
MS-Outlook 2003, which is also our primary email system. Any idea what I may
be missing? Thank you.

Hi Pat,

this could have different reasons. First you should check if Project Server
is set up to send out e-mail. You can find this under Admin > Customise
Project Web Access > Notifications and reminders. Check if you have the right
SMTP Server and Port set up. Lets assume that this is working correct.

If you "request a Project update" I assume that you go inot Project
Professional > "Collaborate" > Request Progress Informormation. A Dialog
window opens and you can "edit a text" and "click" ok to request the update.
Is this how you do it?

If so, you may want to check if the resources have e-mail addresses within
Project Server.
