No email to Blackberry after installing Outlook Connector

T

I have Outlook 2007, Blackberry Storm, msn email account, Windows XP. All
has been fine for months. Have been getting emails on my Blackberry and was
very happy. The other day I was required to install Outlook Connector in
order to continue receiving email to Outlook. I did that and now I can't
receive nor send email to/from my Blackberry. I have tried re-initializing
the email within my blackberry, I have tried redownloading my service books
on the blackberry. I can't seem to find anyone else with this problem within
the last year or so (see some entries from years ago and beta Outlook
Connector).

Any advice is welcome!

I don't know if the storm is that much different than the bb8900 or bold but
have you tried to UNINSTALL the email addresses and then reinstalling them
through the wizard. If that doesn't work do a master reset on your phone and
try again. Just back up your phone first, then remove it from the computer.
Do the master reset, your phone will be like new, then through the wizard add
the email accts again. I could also be that you have not connected your phone
to the desktop manager in a while, therefore not updating your settings and
syncing with the new outlook connector settings.
I am having the same problem only in reverse. I'm getting/sending emails
from my bb but have recieved the email that in order to continue recieve and
send email from my bb I must update my outlook to keep messages on the
server, which is why I'm in the discussion posts. I have outlook 2003 and
xp. I as well have a msn account, and a hotmail account. I also have the
connector, and cannot find the tab with which to change the option leave
messages on the server.
I hope this might help, hell it's worth a shot!
