No Encryption Types with Mandatory Profile

Hi,

I work in a hosting company where we supply hosted Desktops. We have
noticed a bug with Powerpoint 2003 where if a user tries to put a password on
a file it fails to save. I did some research and found that the problem was
caused by there being no encryption types (Tools -
Options-Security-Advanced). Further investigation found the cause of this
was due to the fact we use Mandatory profiles for all our users

To confirm this I tried creating a Manddatory Profile account on a separate
domain and logged into a PC as that account and had the exact same issue.

I have tried this with normal accounts and Domain Admin accounts and all
point to the mandatory profile being the cause.

The odd thing is Excel and Word both have their encryption types available
and as a result work.

I have spent all day trying to find out how to report this as a bug and am
now resigned to posting this here in the hope a developer passes by and takes
note

Hi Steve,

Thanks for chasing this up for me. Can't believe I didn't find that kb
article, I must of spent the best part of 2 days typing every variation of
PowerPoint, Encryption and Mandatory into google and didn't find that.
