I heard back from the escalation support person from Microsoft and
they acknowledge the problem but are indicating that it is stuck in
R&D and thus there is no time-frame or guarantee of a fix. We're stuck
with the workaround (one module enabled at a time).

I wanted to let you know that I have heard back from my liaison. Our
development and testing team are aware of the concerns raised by the
MarkSpace developer. However, we are not able to obtain further
details due to ongoing research and development. This means that there
is no guarantee of a programming change; therefore, we suggest
continual updates of your Office 2008 software should one come along.
Do let me know if this addresses your concerns.

Hi Michael well this is sort of what I knew that no one really knows
what’s wrong. I appreciate your efforts to look into this issue and
your answer but it doesn’t solve the problem and implies that the
problem may never be solved or that there is something so
fundamentally wrong that it would take a major effort to fix – as an
example, pulling apart Entourage to fix it.
Its been almost 10 months since Entourage hit the market and in all
this time I really have seen no progress at all. Plus the problem
existed in 2004 so add that time to the whole scenario and its a long
time. I suspect in 2004 people, such as myself, really never said much
as we had the Palm conduit. That would have done the trick in 2008 up
till I got my Blackberry and now I use both the TX and BB so sync
services is now allowing various devices to work with different apps
such as Entourage.
Can you tell me, is this considered a high priority item. Further, I’m
thinking it must be but that there is just something inherently
problematic in Entourage that is preventing rectification.
