I have Tiger 10.4.2 and recently installed Office Professional 2004 an
SP2. From day 1 I noticed that the "Font" menu item never had a dro
down if the WYSIWYG preference was turned on for Word. Additionally
when this option is on, the floating Format Palette displayed all th
fonts overlapping each other as if .25 spacing was on, an
occiasionally would just show "static" in the drop down font list fo
that palette. Everything is normal when WYSIWYG is turned off. Also
using this drop down would often cause Word to hang or crash. T
troubleshoot I ran FontBook and cleansed for duplicates. This got ri
of most of teh crashing but I still have all the other symptoms. An
idea how to get WYSIWYG working right?
