No image w/FTP

I've been having a problem publishing (using FP 98) for the last few weeks
(see SERVER ERROR-CAN'T PUBLISH question from 2/3) so I've been using FP 98
to design but FTP to publish. All images I've inserted since having to use
FTP show up as an empty box and a red X on the website. I'm pretty sure it
has something to do with how I save them. I've tried saving them on both FP
AND my C Drive (backup), and with JUST FP or JUST C Drive but they still
don't show up. I ordered FP 2003 to (hopefully) solve my publishing problem
but how do I fix my images until it arrives?

You must IMPORT the images into your site before placing them on pages and
