No incoming mail, can send OK

I just installed Office 2003 professional on my new laptop. Originally, I
was receiving mail OK. Then, I followed the online directions for backing up
my old personal files from my old laptop and restoring them on my new laptop.
Everything seemed to work fine, but now I can send email but nothing is
showing up in my inbox. I can retrieve my mail remotely from the web, though.
I'm not getting an error message, it just said "send/receive complete" but
nothing is coming through. I do not currently have a spam blocker. I did
try turning off the firewall but that made no difference. Can you help?
