No info about new messages in public folders in outlook today.

I have outlook 2007 and exchange 2000 server. In outlook today there is no
information about new messages/items in public folders (in my folders
everything is OK). Some times ago I installed outlook 2003 and problem was
identical. Everything works properly with outlook XP.
Could anyone help?
