Using MS Project Server 2007, when a project manager publishes a schedule,
automatic e-mails are sent to team members notiying them of their
assignments. I read in the book "Collaborating on Enterprise Projects" (2008
ed., page 5, item 2) that "Using an embedded link in the email message, team
members can quickly click to view their task assignments in the project...".
But the emails we are receiving do not contain any links; it is just
formatted text with task name, dates and work information. The email format
is HTML and we are using MS Outlook 2003. Consequently, many team members
consider the emails of little value and simply ignore or delete them as spam.
It would be extremely helpful and useful if the emails did contain links to
the task information. How can this be accomplished?
Thank you.
