No main window in Entourage 2004 HELP

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I upgraded to Snow Leopard and now my Entourage will not display the main mail window. I tried:

New User with no predefined preferences
Turning Sync off
New Database
Uninstall and Reinstalling

Nothing works. Entourage locks up and does not respond when I try to open any new windows, like the New main window, Preferences, Tools/Accounts.

Entourage seems to launch normally and pulls down the new emails but...no main window to see what's there. The problem is only that it will not display ANY windows.

If someone is having the same problem or found a cure for this please, please let me know.

Thanks!

Office 2004 is probably not supported with Snow Leopard, but I've heard
nothing official one way or the other.

Have you verified that your windows aren't simply off-screen? Go to
Apple menu --> System Preferences... --> Displays and adjust your
resolution to something very high (so that your screen shows everything
smaller). Is the window off to the side somewhere? Do you have more than
one display attached to your computer?

Thank you for your response Bill. Given that I was pretty much useless without my email I downloaded the trial version of Office 2008. I replaced my Database file in the Office Identities folder and it works perfectly. Your idea seems logical and may have well been the solution. I called Apple and they could not help and then Microsoft and they could not help either. Neither one of them suggested your idea.

Thank you again,
Wendell
