No mgr e-mail in Notify your manager of time you will not be avail

I hope this isn't a duplicate. IE burped in the middle of posting. We are
just starting to use the "Notify your manager of time you will not be
available" option. Whenever a resource uses this option, the request does
show up in the "Updates" page, but the manager does not get an e-mail. It
does work the other direction; that is, when the request is accepted, the
resource gets an e-mail. Am I missing a permission? Or is there something
else?

Hi
Log on as the manager. On the home page at the left hand side there are
settings for notifications and emails.
Make sure that the correct check box are enabled.

Thanks for your response; unfortunately (for me), that isn't the problem.
Notifications are set. Do you have any other suggestions?
