No more endpoints

Hi

I have sbs2003 with outlook2003pro with all the updates from
office.microsoft.com.

When I try to share database i get a error says "There are no more endpoints
available from the endpoint mapper"

Anyone recognize this?

Hi Patrick

This is normally caused because of the windows firewall
service,make sure the same is set to automatic and try sharing the
database.If you feel might create a problem in your network you could
restore the same to the original status once you have enabled database
sharing

I change form disable to automatic and tried to share the database but run
up with the same error.

More idea´s anyone?

Hi
No, it´s the standard version of SBS2003 so its just the ICF - internet
connection firewall and thats disable.

Other software is Veritas backupexec, exchange, sharepoint, trend micro.

Thats all

I just solved this for myself but don;t know if it applies to you. First
thing I ever do is disable the Firewall service. I got the endpoint errors
when trying to share a folder out. I start the firewall service back up and
then go into the control panel to configure the windows firewall and I
manually turn it to "Off". Left everything else the same, went back to the
share folder and shared it out no problem.
