Hello, I'm a newcomer to the forum and support site, so I'm hoping I didn't miss this answer posted elsewhere.

When attempting to add data to an Excel chart I am getting the message:

'No more new fonts may be applied in the workbook'

It's a large Excel file with many charts.

I have researched this on the web (appears it is a problem on Mac & PC Excel) and a solution for the Mac is to click on the whole chart, select selected chart area from the format pulldown list and turn off autoscaling.

Whilst this does works stop the message appearing the charts now look terrible and I don't want to have to do this over so many charts.

Can anyone suggest a solution or point me in the right direction? Perhaps Excel 2008 solves it?

You help would b much appreciated.

Best regards

Matthew Causon
