No motion path on PowerPoint for mac?!

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I to all! I'm new on this forum! I'm trying to animate some text, in particular to move the text from a point to another on my slide, but i can't undestand if this is possible or not in this version of PowerPoint...i see just custom animation to enter, emphatize and exit...

PPt files created on the PC with Motion Paths will play on a Mac, but you're
right... The Mac version does not include the feature. You might use Help>
