NO MS products will open or download

After loading the most recent iTunes update, no Office 2004 products
will work for me. I do not get any error messages. If I open a Word
or Excel file the icon blinks in the dock and then disappears. I
wanted to re-load office, but the same thing happens - the icon
flashes in the dock and then disappears. Nothing opens (I've tried to
force quit).

I read about the new Office updates. I down loaded them, but when I
tried to install, all I got was a flash of the icon and then nothing.

Finally, the same thing happened when I tried to "remove Office" and
start over - a flash of the icon, and then nothing.

How can I fix Office for Mac? Thank you.

This has been done to death in the last few days.

Do you know how to Google the newsgroup?
Also, take a trip round MacFixit and Apple's knowledge base.

Quicktime 7.2 broke Rosetta on some users' Intel Macs.
In summary: Re-apply 10.4.10 from the combo and update prebinding.

The recent update from Apple downloaded and installed Quicktime 7.2
and it is breaking programs running on Rosetta on a Intel based Mac.
To fix this issue you just need to download and install Quicktime 7.2
again and then restart the computer

Go to www.apple.com/quicktime/download and click on download now, once
it is finished downloading go through the installation and it will
prompt to restart your OS, and after doing so you will be able to
launch your Office applications successfully.
