no odf support after Office 2007 SP2 installation

I installed the Office 2007 SP2 update on a Windows XP SP3 system
and, while the "save as pdf or xps" option was added to my menu, there
is no "save as opendocument text" option offered. Any ideas why this
might happen?

Hi wtbx,

The Open Document File (ODF) format is not supported by Office 2007. I think you may have this confused with the Office Open XML
file formats (ECMA-376), which are are Office 2007's default file formats. Whilst both the ODF and Office 2007 file formats are
XML-based, they're not the same. There are third-party add-ins to give Office 97-2007 the ability to process ODF files.

ODF is not supported natively by any Office version.
You can download and install this add-in to repair that deficiency:

Hi wtbx,

I've just installed SP2 - and an 'Open Document Text' option now appears under File|Save As.
