I'm running Windows Server 2003 on my laptop and am using Outlook 2000. I can't seem to enable offline folders (I used t to use them just fine when I was on Win2K Professional with Outlook 2000, same Exchange 2000 server). I found a relevant KB article #246052 "Offline Folder Settings Button Is Missing in Exchange Server Service Properties". This article suggests (for Win2K) to remove Terminal Services and Terminal Services licensing.
However, I do not have Terminal Services or Terminal Services licensing installed (I went to Add/Remove Programs -> Add/Remove Windows Components, and neither box was checked). Yet, regardless, I do not have the option to enable offline folders (exactly the same symptoms as in the KB article noted
So...is there some security setting that could perhaps be causing this issue? I'm not sure what, if any, securiy policy item affects this issue
Thanks much
Dave
