No Outlook repair tool (Scanpst.exe) in files. Now what?.

I've scanned other messages looking for an answer. I realize it's probably
here, but just can't find it. I'd welcome someone pointing me in the right
direction and help remove these blinders from my eyes. If it's here, please
accept my apology ahead of time.

For a reason I can't figure out, Outlook stopped working in May. I am
directed to use the Scanpst.exe Outlook repair tool - and have wasted many
hours trying to do that. Have been using Hotmail (I don't like Hotmail - want
my Outlook back). It's time to try again.

I have have Outlook 2007 and Vista. I update regularly. I get my email from
MSN, into Outlook.

I have looked for the repair tool in 1033 files, on installation CD, and
Office12, and explore - all to no avail. Admittedly, I'm not that
tech-savvy, though I think I do better than most of my senior citizen peers
be a long shot ... not much help to do better than some that are often least
tech-savvy, though, I know
