No Page numbering

I want to eliminate page numbers entirely for the whole document.
How do I do that? I cannot find it as an option in the normal places.

I presume you are referring to Word? If so you need to go to
View/Header and Footer and remove the page numbers.

Note if you inserted the page numbers via Insert/Page Number then Word
will insert the page number field in a frame. In order to remove it,
when you click the page number you will see a fuzzy gray border around
the page number. Place your mouse on the edge of the border and click
the Frame to select it. When you delete the frame the page number
field will also be removed.
