No permission to view the task details

Hi guys,

I'm using MSP 2007, SP1

During my holidays another guy did take over my task to approve the
timesheets and the task updates. Now from some projects I didn't get
the task updates anymore. Now I found out that I need to change the
Status Manager field into my own name.

This results in seeing the task updates again and I am allowed to
accept them, but when I click on a task update I get the generic
message the I do not have the permission to view the Task Details. I
am able to see the Task Details where no change of the Status Manager
was done. When I do accept a task, I can view the Task Details
afterwards in the Applied Task Update Requests and Errors view.

Does somebody know which settings has to be changed to get permission
to view the Task Details again?

If you published your tasks after setting the status manager and this
problem persists, I suggest that you try unpublishing the project by setting
the publish field for each task to no, and save and publish the project.
Then, set the publish field back to yes for every task, and save and publish
again. Does that help?

Yes, it does not help. But first after changing the publish field to
NO and setting all tasks back to YES, the taskupdates are gone. After
forcing the resource to resubmit their tasks (so by first setting it
to another random values and put it back to the original), the
taskupdate is correct.

This is not a friendly way of doing it, there is no other possibilty?

Thanks for your help so far anyway!
