We're using Outlook 2000 SR1, and Exchange server. This
error never occurs from attempts with Global Address
list, Only from the "Contact list" addresses, and
actually all undeliverables are to two different people
within the same company - other addresses within that
company deliver fine.
As far as entering the addresses, If I enter the Recipient
name only (ie "Babe Ruth") the addressee line will auto
complete as "Babe Ruth (E-Mail)" (underlined) and the
message bounces.
If I key the address itsself (ie (e-mail address removed)), it
bounces. If I open the "Contact" list, select the name,
the hit "To ->" and "OK" then sent, the message goes with
out incident.
"Auto resolution"? I don't know what that is. If I were
more knowledgeable, maybe I could provide better info. I
appreciated any help offered!!! Thanks - Eric

State your Outlook version and where the Contacts are stored. Provide more
detail on how you are entering the address and whether you are using
autoresolution or autocompletion. Sounds like you have a corrupt address in
one of the caches, but we can't tell which from your description.

I can send msg to a 'Contact' ONLY by selecting the
contact from the lit. If i key in the full address or key
in the name and allow Outlook to search the contact list
and return the formatted name in the Addressee line, the
msg is returned "undeliverable" with a deatil of "You do
not have permission to send to this recipient."
Di i have a wrong setting??
