No Product Key Code for Office 2000 Premium

C

CAP

I bought a used DVD drive from a thrift store which contained an Office 2000
Premium CD. I do not have a product key code and Office 2000 is no longer
supported so a key code is not available. I can install the software without
the code but when I try to use it, the program runs and a popup screen asks
me for the code. How do I obtain a key code for a product that is no longer
supported? Can a program like magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder locate the code
if it was never entered during the installation?

You cannot.
MagicJellyBean will not retrieve an office2k key, even if office has been
properly installed using the key

Hi CAP,

If you use the *pirated* keys being proffered by ybS2okj, don't be surprised if:
a) they don't work (or soon get disabled by MS); and/or
b) you get prosecuted for using pirated software.
If you didn't get a product key with the CD you bought, then all you bought was a CD, not a license to use the software on it. I
suggest you go back to the store and either get the product key for the CD or a refund.

I suspect that when the OP bought the used DVD drive the original owner is
now looking for his lost Office 2000 Premium CD. Don't you just hate it
when you leave a disk in a drive or a piece of paper in an envelope and then
can't find it a day or two later after you got rid of the carrier.

You are talking completely and utterly rubbish. Office 2000 is no
longer supported and M$ hasn't got the time to waste on historical software.

Get your facts pig!

That just shows how little you know about Microsoft's interest in its intellectual property.

Not only that, they post this rubbish on a microsoft-hosted server!

Talk about not being the sharpest knife in the drawer ...

This is the garbage you said:

Now since when did Microsoft start activation system for Office 2000?
How will they deactivate it if there was no need to activate.

Piggy strikes back!!

MS started product activation with Office 2000, though it wasn't universal ...

So what is the point of wasting time to deactivate the product keys
posted on these NG? You were stupid to activate your Office 2k but the
rest of us didn't and we strongly detest any form of bullying by pigs
like you.

If you have anything to do with this then I challenge you to deactivate
the keys already posted on these NG. The OP will continue using them
whether you like it or not.

Go to your mummy now and shut up. Piggy!!! The keys were posted on M$
NG and they are still there. This indicates that M$ couldn't care less
about pigs like you.

I think you've made it plain enough for all to see just who the real pig is...

Oh no I am not the pig around here. Pigs are the ones who uses the
title MVP after their name to indicate they are Microsoft Valuable Pig.
Do you use MVP after your name?

They used to be called Microsoft Valuable P e r v e r t s but Microsoft
decided it was very rude to call their members p e r v e r t s and child
molesters so now they are called Microsoft Valuable Pigs or MVPs for
short. Microsoft didn't want its members to be outed under Megan's Law.
