no product key ID

I recently bought a computer from a computer store. It
was on sale and the only one they had left was the
display. When I tried to go into Word, I was told to
input the ID and found I couldn't. The only things I was
given were the actual pieces and that's it. I contacted
the store but haven't received a response and it's going
on a week. What do I do if I need to use Word and the
others soon?

Did the store provide you will the CDs and all associated packaging etc for
Microsoft Word ?
Did you buy the PC on the understanding that you were also buying Microsoft
Word ?
If so then they MUST supply you with the product key and media (or recovery
process to restore PC to as shipped including all preinstalled
applications).
You may not actually be licensed to use Word and should continue this with
the store.
