No Programme working - Need urgent help

I just downloaded the upgradation of the McAfee Virus software
At the end of download the computer started problem
It says it is not enabled. I do not know how to enable
Since then no prorammes (word, Excel, all under start - All Programmes
are opening. It (Microsoft) always says (the programme trying to open
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry fo
inconvenience
Whether my computer is virus affected due to download

May I get some urgent help

Hi, gandhi318,

One thing to try first is a re-install or repair of Office. You could also
uninstall McAfee to see if that fixes the issues, or contact them for
support since it appears their installation may have broken Office.
