Hi
I've got a copy of publisher 2000
went through a tutorial on how to make a web site....all went well
until I got to uploading my site. Went to File....but found no "publish
to web". Do I need to download some extra stuff for mu copy of
publisher to handle uploading websites?

The command language gets changed in each version for some reason.
In version 2000 it reads "save as web page".
And that is only if you have a web document.
If you created a print document than it needs to be converted to a web
document first.
File, convert to web...

You can either "publish" to the publish folder (or create your own folder)
AND THEN publish from that folder to the web server, OR you can "publish"
directly to the web server.
If you do the prior you need to use a web folder (http) or a ftp client
(ftp), if you do the latter you only use Publisher itself and it supports
both http and ftp.
You need to go thru my upload tutorial at www.davidbartosik.com/ppt.htm as
it explains in full detail the direct publish in both protocols and setting
them up.
Since the tutorial was done in version 2002 the screen shots and a few
dialogs are a little different in version 2000 but the process is the same,
and that is what you need to learn.

Hi David
I've saved as webpage and now have the 'publish' folder. What do I now
do to upload my site? Do I need to use an FTP program?
