No read permission for table

I created a secured splitt database. I put myself in the
Admins group but it does not allow me to even open a table
in design view through the front end.

Also, it won't let me change owners from admin to
something else.

It has admin as the owner but I can't log in as "admin".
It does not recognize it.

This is my first time setting up security. Please help me.
