No Response From MS Office Update Server

I am trying to download aand apply patches for my newly reinstalled Office
2003.

When I connect to the Office Update page it displays the list of updates
available OK but when I click install to download and install them the
progress window appears but nothing downloads or installs.

All other Internet browsing for this PC is OK.

Are there any know problems with the Office update server or is the MS
network just a bit overloaded at the moment with the wider release of Win XP
SP2?
