no response on defined views

Hello...

I want to filter my inbox so that only external emails appear. For example,
if my email is (e-mail address removed), I want to view only those messages from
people outside the "@microsoft.com" domain.

Advanced filter does not result in any changes. Here is what I am doing:

1. Filter...
2. Advanced Filter tab
(Criteria section)
3. Field = From
4. Condition = doesn't contain
5. Value = @microsoft.com
6. Add to list
7. OK

No changes at all... any help?

Same problem when I try to organize by colors.
