Hello all,
I just upgraded to publisher 2003 from 2000. when I click on a piece of clip
art in a previously created document from 2000 an error box comes up saying "
Publisher cannot launch or communicate with the OLE server program needed to
complete this task" When I click on a piece of clip art on a template in
publisher 2003 it opens a clip art window but the clip installed on my comp.
from previos versions are not all there. For example I searched for
Bread..now I know I have at least 100 ormore images of bread that I coould
acess in pub 2000 and when I go to my program files under publisher they are
all there. I selected the organize clips option ...then add clip to organizer
option...and chose "automatically" and "on my own" automatically did retrieve
some but like I said maybe one or 2. I cannot figure out how to add them
manually because there is simply to many. I seem to recall this same thing
happening when I upgraded to 2000 back when. All I want to do is like before,
click on an image that is in the publication and have the clip window come up
with selections or click add cip art and have my selections come up.
Whew...that was long......sorry but I read the other posts on the site and
wanted to be clear as to what my problem was. any help will be appreciated.
