No Save option on File menu

Is anyone else having a problem with saving files in OneNote 2007? My app
does not display a Microsoft Office Button and when I drop down the File menu
there's no option to just Save, only SaveAs. My problem is that I can work
for hours on a Notebook, click the SaveAs (since it's all I have), exit
OneNote and when I go back in the Notebooks gone!

You don't need to Save; OneNote saves automatically in the background.

What if you just do some work in OneNote and close the App without doing
any SaveAs. When you restart Outlook you should see the work.

If you do File | Open do you see all of your "Save As"d notebooks?

No. Saving is automatic in OneNote (ON). No manual Save is required. Can be
a tough habit to break if you're an Office veteran.

When you're finished working in ON, just close ON.

When you launch it again, your Notebooks will be there waiting for you open
to the very page, section and notebook that you were working on when you
last closed ON.

Working as designed. ;) It will take some getting used to.

Thanks for your help!
