Mole Chaser
Excel 2003 with WinXP-SP2.
New/changed files don't prompt to Save on either closure of wb or exit
Excel. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the entire Office suite as well as
just Excel. No fix. I have unloaded *all* addins; no fix. I have started
Excel in Safe mode; no fix. I have gone to VBA and set
ActiveWorkbook.Saved=False in the immediate window, but no fix.
I usually remember to save, but a couple of times I have lost a carefully
built small worksheet due to this. I have seen a number of similar reports in
different user groups, but no solutions. I have posted in several others
without any success also.
Surely Microsoft is aware of this; why can't they fix it? If anyone has any
ideas to try I'll be glad to try anything; I'm completely out of ideas.
Thanks for any help!
