No Screen Saver With Outlook

I don't have experience with Outlook, but my wife uses it (Office 2002 under
XP/SP3). One thing has us stymied: when Outlook is open with the Inbox
showing, her screen saver never comes on. Minimize Outlook, and with any
other program or just the Desktop up the screen saver comes on fine after the
programmed 10 minutes. Any ideas, anyone? Many thanks!.
